Listen to me talk about recovering from fatigue

Here's an interview I did with Jimmy Moore from Livin' La Vida Low-Carb. There's a couple of things I'd like to mention. First off I apologize for the 200 uh huhs in the interview (oiy vey) and secondly when I was talking about telling the difference between fatigue and depression I got a little derailed so this is what I meant to say....

Depressed people will feel better with exercise and so will mildly fatigued people. But people with moderate and severe fatigue actually feel worse. This is a huge point in my book, it's called Post Exertional Malaise or worsening of symptoms that occurs after exercise, it may happen following exercise or even the next day and it lasts for at least 24 hours. If this is the case then it's one of the acid tests to diagnose chronic fatigue. My book will give you a good guide on how to not only pace your activities but to structure your exercise, which is called graded exercise, so that you can recover from fatigue. Because like I said you can't get healthy without exercise but you have to know how to do it and follow a very structured plan.

Also I neglected to mention the fact that most people need to take an omega 3 supplement in the form of cod liver oil or some other pure fish oil source. AND L-lysine is NOT an herb it's an amino acid....all for now. I hope you enjoy the interview and let me know if you have any questions.

OUTIE!

I invented a tool to remove invisible braces, it's called the OUTIE and is being produced right now. A couple of days ago I got the provisional patent on it so I can now start advertising.

WHAT'S AN OUTIE?

The OUTIE is a tool for the easy and safe removal of invisible braces.

HOW BIG ARE OUTIES?

Outies are 4 1/2 inches long and 5/8 inches wide. They go with you easily in your pocket or purse.

HOW DO OUTIES WORK?

EASY! Use one end to push your bottom aligner up and off, and the other end to pull the top aligner down and off.

I expect to receive my first shipment of OUTIES around mid-June!

The Disney exposure is going to be great for us and we are looking forward to an incredible year.

I have just approved a 3D design that my team in China worked up for one of my designs (that I sent there) for an orthodontic tool that I invented. I won't give out details yet because my provisional patent paperwork is still being submitted.

We will be getting our first shipment of our reusable shopping bags that I designed around the first week of April. It's been about 4 months from idea to actual product.

The bags will be on sale on our website at
http://www.useitagainsam.com/ and in stores (to be announced).

Update

I just realized it's been eons since I posted here....here's the scoop on what's going on. I finished the manuscript and the editorial review re-writes this week for the book The Complete Idiot's Guide to Fighting Fatigue. There will probably be a couple more passes on that but the main work is done. It will be released in August.

Sunday we are having a book party at the Fish Market downtown to celebrate the release of my book The Everything First Aid Book.

I'm working on another documentary for NHK---this one is on the failing health care for retirees in Japan. The one I did on pandemic influenza aired last month on Japan public broadcasting.

I've built and am maintaining a website for Nancy Deville at www.nancydeville.com. Her book Death by Supermarket that I helped with the research has been out side last September and doing well.

I'm getting the Celebrate Dogmas! and Celebrate Catmas! CDs in Petco which should be great for us next Christmas.

My new business is Use It Again Sam™---reusable shopping bags that I designed. We have 10 colors, they are made out of nylon Ripstop the same fabric used to make parachutes. This is something I thought of a long time ago but now that I have a business partner I can make a go of it in the finances department. We will be selling on our site and elsewhere starting about the end of March.

There's more but all for now.

Cheerio!
